Orioles Lineup Change

By: Ben Raby
BALTIMORE- A late change to the Orioles lineup sees Freddie Bynum replacing Brian Roberts in the leadoff spot. Roberts is said to be suffering from an illness.

The move means that Bynum will see his first action since being called up from Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday. Bynum struggled in 34 games with the Orioles earlier this season hitting just .192 (19-99) before being designated for assignment on June 22. Bynum was called back up when shortstop Alex Cintron was placed on the 15-day disabled list earlier this week. In five games with Norfolk, Bynum was hitting .400 (6-15),

Bynum will play shortstop this afternoon, with the originally scheduled shortstop for today, Brandon Fahey, now taking Roberts' spot in the field at second base.
